American designer Eric Janssen received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1993. He founded his New York City namesake firm in 1997. Janssen favors a simple, archetypal approach to form and has a keen interest in materials. A subtle wit is often present in his sculptural and iconic designs.
