Donald Corey was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. After receiving his Master of Industrial Design from North Carolina State University, Donald and his wife Vanese established The Other Edge Design Studio in Raleigh, North Carolina. Donald’s designs have been showcased at international events including Salone Satelite in Milan, Workshopped in Sydney, CODE in Copenhagen and ICFF in New York. His work has been highlighted on major design blogs such as Designboom, Core77 and Design*Sponge. Donald is an Associate Professor of Industrial Design at Appalachian State University. He also teaches a summer design program in the Czech Republic in conjunction with North Carolina State University’s Prague Institute.
